Backbends can feel both exhilarating and vulnerable. This workshop guides you through the foundations of heart‑opening poses with a blend of strength, mobility, and mindful pacing.
You’ll explore how to support your spine, open your chest safely, and cultivate the emotional spaciousness that backbends often invite. Rather than pushing into the deepest version of a urdhva dhanurasana (wheel), we focus on creating a backbend that feels expansive, supported, and uniquely your own.
Rest & Digest
Give yourself 90mins to surrender and tune in, allowing yourself a pocket of calm before the lead up to the festive season begins.
Headstand workshop
Headstand is known as the king of yoga poses - and it’s no joke, it’s one that takes time to build up to! Join me in this extended practice, focusing on building strength and confidence specifically around sirsasana (headstand).
Mindful Beginnings: building your meditation practice
Finding time in this busy world to be still and present is hard. But the benefits can be huge - stress relieving, better sleep and better regulation of emotions to name a few.
Join Bex for a 2 hour exploration into meditation - the perfect session to establish a new, or returning meditation practice. During the workshop you'll be introduced to a variety of different meditation techniques, from mindful breathing to mantra to anchoring through the senses, to help you find what works best for you.
Rest & Digest
As we move into the summer months, we may find ourselves feeling more energetic and in turn doing more. But are you finding time to slow down and tune in?
In this extended practice we will be moving and breathing our way into a parasympathetic state. This is the part of the nervous system responsible for 'rest and digest', where we can relax and quite literally digest (both food and thoughts). We'll begin with a gentle flow, moving into restorative poses with supportive props and ending with a meditative savasana and essential oil adjustments.
